Kiwifruit Puree

Kiwifruit Puree is so full of goodness. The kiwi (also know as the chinese gooseberry) is a very delicious fruit and is packed with nutrients. Its shaped like an egg and has a very thin brown-greenish hairy skin (kind of fluffy short hairs), green or golden flesh and edible seeds.

Selecting Your Kiwifruit

Kiwis are a great source of Vitamin C and are also an excellent source of potassium. To get the sweet tasting kiwi, choose the ripe ones, they taste great and baby will love them. The unripe ones I think taste a bit funny. The seeds are completely edible so there's no need to pick them out.

Basic Kiwi Puree

Ingredients:

2 Ripe Kiwis

Preparation:

Wash and peel the kiwis and puree them until really smooth. Add a bit of boiled cooled water to the puree if you think its too thick for your little one.

Kiwi And Banana Delight

Banana and kiwi make a great combination so if your baby loves Banana, go for this puree.

Ingredients:

2 Ripe Kiwis

1 Ripe Banana

Directions:

Wash and peel the fruits and puree them together until nice and smooth. Yummy!
