Mango Banana Puree

Mango Banana Puree

Banana is a super fruit. Its actually a tropical fruit and makes a good home remedy by itself for stopping diarrhoea.

Sandy liked this puree from the word go and now all I do is mix in some plain yoghurt to make a simple snack for her. Mandy is more into blueberries. I guess kids all have their different tastes when it comes to food (dont we all!).

Ingredients:

1 small to medium sized ripe mango

1 banana

Preparation:

Wash and peel the mango

Cut flesh off the pit (stone)

Steam mango in your steamer pot until cooked (You dont have to steam or cook fruit for older babies, just puree them raw).

Puree the mango until smooth

Add banana to the puree and puree a bit further to blend the banana in.

Yummy!
