Yummy Mango Puree

Mango puree is just plain delicious. Mango has got to be number one on my favorite fruits list. This fruit is rich in vitamin A and Vitamin C and is also a great source of dietary fibers.

Mangoes have yellow flesh and can vary in taste from really sweet and juicy to not so sweet -and sour. Most Babies easly accept sweet and mild tasting fruits.

You can steam them for this recipe if you prefer for about 6-7 minutes or just use them raw for older babies .

This puree should only be given to babies over 6 months of age.

Ingredients:

1 meduim sized mango

Directions:

Wash and peel the Mango

Cut the flesh off the pit (or seed)

Cut mango into smaller pieces and puree until nice and smooth. Add a little water, juice or breast milk if you want a lighter consistency.
